Early Work

I call this "Dresser Person." Thanks to Jesse for sending me a photo of this painting I did, oh, probably around 1972. And thanks to my mom for letting me paint on the backs of dressers, which is why this piece is preserved and also may have something to do with why I have the creative freedom I do. She actually let me paint on the walls too. Parents, I recommend this policy.

Love your early work!!! Is this a self-portrait? If so, I am glad you have overcome your body image issues. And your legs have evolved beyond tadpole stage. Love it. Henry read your blog, and he wants to paint on the walls. Thanks a lot.
By the way, I support the idea of prizes for comments. How about a visit from you?

I've always wanted to have a wall or a room where the kids can paint on the wall. Once we are in a house that WE rent and not Goodyear (out of the country) I plan to do this. Ryan is not such a willing participant in this idea, but we'll do it!! Love the painting. I was born in 1972. Great to see you were already in the makings of a fabulous artist!
